No Calculator? Use Google

Here’s a quick tip when you’re surfing the web or need to do a calculation but can’t find your adding machine or pocket calculator – use Google!

We all know that Google can be a great tool for finding things, but one of the many not so well known things you can do with Google is to use the search service as a calculator. Simply enter your calculation into the search window and Google will return the result. For example, entering 6/2+4 will return the following: (6 / 2) + 4 = 7 and entering 100*.25 will return 100 * .25 = 25.
