Marketing Tip: When you get a business card, don’t just throw it in a drawer!

When you receive a business card from someone, use the back side to write down where you met them and one thing that they seemed to be interested in. As soon as possible after the meeting, follow-up with a card or letter telling them you were glad to have had an opportunity to met them and discuss that specific topic with them.
