Adding lines to documents or forms can be a challenge in Word if you want something other than a singe line across the page. Royalwise has a great post on 4 Creative Ways to Insert Horizontal Lines in Microsoft Word.
Earlier today I was creating a new memo form and wanted to insert double lines above and below certain text. The Royalwise article tells you how to do this quick and easy:
Use Auto Format
On a blank line, type these 3 characters in a row and press ENTER. A line appears across the page.
If you need to remove one, simply Backspace or Delete as normal.
There are other useful methods provides as well. This one is worth bookmarking and trying for yourself.
