Day 1 of 2011 Wisconsin Solo & Small Firm Conference is a Wrap!

The first day of the 2011 Wisconsin Solo & Small Firm Conference is done and it was a huge success! Day 1 started with a session on legal research with Fastcase and information on the new Wisbar MarketPlace and Books UnBound. PINNACLE, the State Bar of Wisconsin’s CLE Department announced that all attendees of the WSSFC would receive a month of free access to Books UnBound starting November 1, 2011.

When Your Trial & Presentation Technology gets bit by Mr. Murphy

We like to think that a technical disaster won’t ever happen to us when we are presenting, but that’s just not the case. And it’s not just a trial: I experienced “technical difficulties” at a presentation last week to the Law Librarians Association of Wisconsin.
